Christy Giles is dead – Obituary 2021 – cause of death

Christy Giles was an Irish football player in the 1920s and 1930s. He is also known as “Dickie”. Giles played for Bohemia Football Club and Shelburne Football Club during his career in the Irish League.


On December 28, 1929, he won the 1929/30 league championship for Bohs and made his debut in the game against Bray Unknowns on December 28, 1929. [1] He will later manage Drumcondra F.C.

His son Johnny will continue to win numerous medals with Leeds United and serve as the captain and manager of the Irish national team. His grandsons Chris and Michael will also participate in the Irish League.
