Father Of Suresh Raina Passed Away, Cause Of Death

Saddened to hear this out about Raina’s father, our sincere condolence to the legendary Suresh Raina and his loved ones. All strength to his family.

Raina decided to play cricket and moved to Lucknow from her hometown of Muradnagar in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, to study at Guru Gobind Singh Sports Academy in Lucknow. He became Uttar Pradesh’s U-16 captain and emerged in India in 2002 when he was picked for the U-19 England tour at the age of 15 and a half, where he produced a pair of U-19 Test matches of half a century. Later that year, he toured Sri Lanka with the U-17 team.

In February 2003, at the age of 16, he made his debut for the Ranji Trophy in the Uttar Pradesh game against Assam, but did not play another match until the following season. He made his debut in Indore’s A cricket match against Madhya Pradesh in 2005 and scored 16 points. He plays for India Green, UP Under-16, India Blue, India Red, Rest of India, India Under-19, India Board Chairman XI, Rajasthan Cricket Association Chairman XI, Indian Seniors, Central District. During the Ranji Trophy 2005-06 season, he scored 620 in six games.

Suresh Raina who was born on the 27th Of November in 1986 is a former Indian international cricketer. An aggressive left-handed intermediate batsman and occasional backspin bowler, he is also regarded as one of the best outfielders in world cricket. He played for Uttar Pradesh in various forms of domestic cricket. He was the captain of the Indian Premier League Gujarat Lions and is currently the vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings. He also captained the Indian cricket team and is the second-youngest player ever to captain India. He is the first Indian batsman to reach a century in all three international cricket competitions.
