RCMP reported multiple shootings Monday morning in downtown Langley, B.C.

Around 6:20 a.m., an emergency alert was sent to Lower Mainland residents’ cellphones, warning of the incidents and urging the public to stay away from the area.

An incident also occurred in Langley Township, according to the text.

It said a dark-haired male suspect, wearing a brown Carhartt overalls and a teal camouflage shirt with a red logo on the right sleeve, remained at large.

He was also associated with a white car.

Everyone is urged to remain vigilant and keep their distance.

A person who called AM730 said: “On 200th Street in Langley, there is a large number of emergency vehicles northbound and southbound.”
