Laura Campbell was born in Northern Ireland and moved to the United States at the age of 10. On the small screen, she appeared regularly on ABC’s Quantico and had numerous cameo roles on major TV shows. On the big screen, you can see her and Vince Vaughn with Kristen Stewart and Jack O’Connell in Benedict Andrews’ Seberg.
Other characters include Reyna the wild prowler in the Netflix feature film Armageddon, and the title character in various short films. As a theater professional, she has worked in theaters across the country, from Kruman in off-Broadway solo performances to Houston’s Tony Award-winning Alley Theater, as well as co-adapting and directing James with Tony Award-winning director Dibal Luce Another country production by Baldwin.
Laura is the co-founder of Dynamo Studio, a women-run production company that sparks conversations about social issues by creating plays and films, and leads the campaign team for Film Fatales, a company that advocates for all marginalization in film Gender in the nonprofit industry. Laura attended Tulane University in New Orleans, where she earned degrees in theatre studies, international relations and conflict resolution. She earned a master’s degree in acting from Columbia University, studying with Kristen Linklater, Andre Selban, and Anne Bogart.
