Police said they have launched a team for the suspect following this robbery incident which was reportedly on 19th March, Saturday around 3 pm at Siyabuswa near Umhlanga. According to the details The old woman who lives alone in her house and she was preparing to take a nap, then suddenly someone locked all the doors of the house .she noticed someone is inside the house. A man was in the house and he saw her then suddenly he punched her face. He tie her hand with cable and tried to strangle her until she became unconscious.

The old lady said she can’t recall what happened to her because she was in an unconscious situation after she become conscious she noticed her house was ransacked and her gun and her uncounted money were stolen from the safe locker. she have some wounds on her face she noticed when she was in a conscious situation she told the police at Siyabuswa.

The suspect is still at large and the police urge anyone with the information on the whereabouts of the suspect to call the crime stop number on 0860010111 or sent this information by MySAPSApp. All the information which they received will be treated as confidential and the caller may be got to remain anonymous. Provincial Commissioner of the (SAPS) in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant-general Semakaleng Daphney Manamela has strongly condemned this incident.
