Last week, Nyima Dolma, 28, of Toronto died in hospital after she was set on fire on a city bus near Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street West. Police have now identified the woman and accused Tenzin Norbu, 33, of murder, an accusation that was originally attempted murder. The incident happened at around 12:25 pm on the 17th of June.
Police originally said that a man on the bus attacked Dolma by pouring a liquid on her and setting it on fire. Norbu is currently facing charges of common nuisance endangering the safety and lives of the public, assault with a weapon, and mischief over $5,000 directed at property.
