Steven Powell is dead – Obituary 2021 – cause of death

ABC’s “20/20: If something happens to me” asks a question: “Where is Susan Powell?”-a mystery that has plagued her friends and family for more than a decade.

In December 2009, the wife and the mother of two children disappeared from the surface of the earth without a trace. Since then, the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and previous events have been continuously investigated.

At the same time, she also investigated the subsequent tragic deaths of the children, hoping to find some specific answers. In her case, a name that often appeared was the name of her late father-in-law Steven Powell. So, let’s find out all the information about him, shall we?.

Steven and his wife Trika Powell were from Puyallup, Washington. They had five children, three sons and two daughters. But even if there is a big family, their marriage is very abnormal. According to Terrica’s 1992 divorce petition, this was mainly due to Steven’s dissatisfaction with her religion, the LDS church, and the way he raised his son. He shared pornographic content with men in the family and refused to restrict behavior.

As a result, one of his son Joshua allegedly killed a pet gerbil belonging to one of his sisters and even threatened Terica with a butcher knife.

A few years later, when Joshua married Susan in 2001, Steven was a little fascinated by the new members of the family. According to a family friend, the young couple actually moved from Washington to Utah so that Susan could keep some distance from her father-in-law. When investigators learned of the incident after her disappearance, they confiscated the computer from Steven’s home to try to see if he was involved.

There, they found more than 4,500 photos taken by Susan without her knowledge, including some close-ups, and secret videos of other women and young girls. Subsequently, on September 22, 2011, Steven Powell was arrested for voyeurism and child pornography, and the latter was later revoked.
