Thermobaric bomb video leaked twitter, The Russian army surrounds Kiev

Lightly armoured Russian troops are trying to surround Kiev, the head of Britain’s military intelligence agency said on Friday.

“Most” of Vladimir Putin’s forces are said to be advancing toward Kiev, now just 50 kilometers (about 30 miles) from the Ukrainian capital.

Some have entered the northern suburbs of the city, according to local defense sources. But so far the Ukrainian army has held fierce resistance against the invading army, especially in urban areas.

Defence Intelligence Director Lieutenant General Sir Jim Hockenhull said: “Russian forces continue to advance towards Kiev along two axes. “Their goal is to surround the capital, control the population and change the regime.

“Russia continues to strike in Ukraine. “Russia launched a series of coordinated attacks on targets in Kiev overnight, using rocket launchers in Chernihiv and Kharkiv.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to mount strong resistance with a focus on defending the main cities of Ukraine.”

Western officials said Ukrainians were fighting “admirably” for their country and were able to stop Russian troops in some urban areas.

But they fear that if Russian forces fail to complete the invasion on time when the Ukrainians fight back, Putin will begin to “use indiscriminate force”.

The Russian president can use his devastating thermobaric bomb to fire a barrage of explosive warheads at enemy forces.

Putin and his government have described Kiev’s leaders as “Nazis and drug addicts,” and Western officials said they expected “they will be targeted by Russian troops.”

That comes as NATO said it would send more troops to Eastern Europe.

“No one should be fooled by the Russian government’s lies,” the 30 leaders said in a joint statement after a virtual summit hosted by Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
