After his performance, it is pretty hard to argue that with Neal eking out a close split decision of win over the “Genta Boa”. Ultimate Fighting Championship is going to be returning to T-Mobile in Las Vegas in Nevada dating to 11th December 2021, two thrilling championships matches, and a Bantamweight banger which is guaranteed to deliver fireworks.

It seems like Ponzinibbio came out of the corner having a mission, he wanted Neal to be on his back foot as he applied the pressure from the start, Neal circled well and he scored with an inside leg kick but then he missed with a high kick moments, Ponzinibbio started off with a nice combination but it has to be said that Neal’s defense was on point.

Ponzinibbio was feeling the momentum to be on his side, he was scoring with some leg kicks and shots upstairs to begin the second stanza, Neal was continuing to bounce around the cage, he was using the low kicks to set up his combinations upstairs, Ponzinibbio created a leg shot takedown but Neal was pretty quick in getting back to his feet.

It was a pretty close fight heading to the third and final frame, Neal’s coach was trying to convey to him to pick up the pace in the final five minutes, it was Ponzinibbio who came out with complete fire, he was phenomenal on the day. Neal has put a nice combination, Ponzinibbio was more than willing to return in kind.

90 seconds were remaining, the two began to open up, they were exchanging blows, in the end, the judges awarded Neal a super close split decision win, it honestly could have gone anyway, both guys put their heart out in the octagon, the match was well-matched and they gave the audiences a show worth to watch.
