Elon Musk and Senator Elizabeth Warren have been feuding on Twitter.

It all started when Elon was named Time’s 2021 Person of the Year, something that Elizabeth obviously wasn’t happy about.

She clapped back with a comment about him not paying taxes before Elon called the politician ‘Senator Karen’.

Elon Musk calls Elizabeth Warren ‘Senator Karen’

On Twitter, Elizabeth Warren replied to an article about Elon Musk winning Time’s 2021 Person of the Year, writing:

“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else.”

Elon then clapped back by sharing a Fox News article that calls her a “fraud” with the caption: “Stop projecting”.

“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” he added.

Then, he wrote: “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

What does ‘Senator Karen’ mean?

If you’re not aware, ‘Karen’ is an imaginary stereotype of a white, middle class woman.

The name is usually used to rant or complain about people and it’s an umbrella term to describe any woman who is annoying or difficult.

A ‘Karen’ is said to be a middle-aged woman with short hair who is extremely obnoxious and argumentative.

She’s the type of person that says “I want to speak to the manager!” at every possible situation. You know, those annoying people.

It doesn’t matter what their name really is. It could be Susan, Mary or Rachel, but in the meme world, they are known as Susan.

The word ‘Karen’ is usually put after their location or job. For example, ‘Cashier Karen’, ‘Airport Karen’ or ‘Car Park Karen’.

As Elizabeth Warren is a Senator, Elon Musk called her ‘Senator Karen’, essentially saying that he doesn’t like her and she’s annoying.
