TikTok always makes some weird hack or product go viral, but what’s the pink sauce condiment that drives people crazy?
When most people eat chips, they might reach for ketchup, mayonnaise, or even ranch, but one chef has devised a sweet and vibrant condiment that could become America’s favorite Condiments – a competitor to pink sauce.
What is pink sauce?
Created by celebrity/personal chef Pii, Pink Sauce is a new condiment in the seasoning world. Basically, that’s exactly what it says on the can, or rather the bottle, it’s a pink sauce, but it’s described as “sweet, savory, and flavorful” in one.
A serving contains 90 calories, and a bottle costs $20. According to Chef Pii, you can use pink sauce on everything from grilled chicken and shrimp to tacos, gyros and even pickles.
In addition to sunflower oil (which may be an allergen for some), this product also claims to contain milk, so it is not suitable for vegans or those with intolerances or allergies.
Pink Sauce Sends Douyin Wild
Since she first posted about her Pink Sauce in early June, Chef Pii reported that the product sold out online in just 24 hours, and she needs to stock up as soon as possible because it’s safe to say that TikTok fans have Addicted.
Many fans of the new condiment have posted themselves to TikTok, either as a simple dip or as part of a recipe, but most who tried it said the same thing – they loved it.
One user who didn’t pay to see it gave a super accurate description, saying: “Pink sauce is amazing. Honestly, I rate it 10/10 and would say it’s worth all the hype.
“It does have its own unique flavor and doesn’t taste like any other sauce on the market. I’ve seen people say it tastes like ranch lovely – but there’s no such thing as ranch at all. It’s a little sweet…but it’s very flavorful Yummy. It goes really well with those shrimp and squid, but I’d love to try it on a salad.”
PinkSauce currently has over 14.1 million views on TikTok, and some of Chef Pii’s videos about sauces have each surpassed 1 million views.
It’s definitely everyone’s sauce, as Chef Pii even had a group of kids in her neighborhood try it, and it was a solid win for them.
While some say it looks like Pepto Bismol, reviews of this sauce are generally positive.
