It has been coming forward that the Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor son has died at the age of 17. He was, reportedly, missing for two days and now the news of his death came to the front. The singer took to social media to share the disheartening news. She wrote that her son decided to end his earthly struggle and urged everyone not to follow his example. Sinéad shared an emotional post on Twitter where she wrote that her beautiful son Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor has died and is now with God.
O’Connor’s management company confirmed the unfortunate passing of Sinéad’s son. On Saturday, Jan 8, the company released a statement where it was stated that they are confirming the death of Sinead’s son Shane. They asked the general public to show respect to the musician’s family who is observing the most difficult time. Besides, police also went ahead to confirm the death of Ali Shane on Saturday itself. As per reports, Shane was missing since Thursday from Newbridge in County Kildare. Gardaí, the state police force of the Republic of Ireland, had launched an appeal for Shane’s whereabouts.
How Did Sinéad O’Connor Son Die?
The police had stated that Sinéad O’Connor’s son was seen in the Tallaght, Dublin 24 area on Friday morning for the last time and since then he was missing. Gardaí reissued the appeal on Friday where they said that they are concerned for his welfare. After the singer’s son went missing, the former shared heartfelt posts on social media. She asked her son to return and said that his life is precious and added that God has not chiselled that beautiful smile on his beautiful face for nothing.
The 55-year-old singer wrote that her world will collapse without her son and asked him not to harm himself. She asked her son to go to the Gardai who will take him to the hospital. Sinéad had further shared that her son is scaring the crap out of her and asked him to present at the Gardai station as they are concerned for his safety. According to the reports, the 17-year-old boy was missing for two days. On Friday, Jan 7, 2022, the cops found a dead body in the Bray area of Wicklow. It has been speculated that Sinéad’s son took his own life as he died by committing suicide. However, it is not been confirmed yet.
