Sharing the news via a stylish pink and white teaser poster, the four-piece girl group is finally putting an end to the pain of eager fans, revealing that Born Pink is set to hit theaters on September 16, just over a month away. “BLACKPINK 2ND ALBUM,” the graphic reads. “2022. 09.16.”

The album’s release date comes two days after Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa announced the August 19 release date for Born Pink’s single “Pink Venom.” A day later, the K-pop singers announced dates for their upcoming Born Pink world tour, which will begin in October and end in June next year and will span North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

“Pink Venom” will be BLACKPINK’s second single released this year, following “Ready for Love”, their promotional single with PUBG Mobile. Before that, her debut album, The Album, was released in 2020, which included the hits “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez.
Since then, the four BLACKPINK ladies have been trying to start their own businesses. Lisa has released two singles – “Lalisa” and “Money” – last year with Megan Thee Stallion, DJ Snake and Ozuna on “SG”, while Rosé released “On the Ground” and “Gone”. Jennie, on the other hand, was chosen as one of Calvin Klein’s spokesmen, and Jisoo recently collaborated with Cartier.
