Born on July 11, 1967, in Peru, Mrs. Golgin is the daughter of Kenneth and Kathi Schumacher (born Cooper). She got married to Terry Lee Golgin on October 20, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV and joined the church there. Prior to that, she was a 1985 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School.
Denise worked as a polysomnographic tech at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. She loved spending time with her friends and family, as well as camping, auto racing, the ocean, crafting, and her cats. All who knew her will miss her deeply.
Tiara Golgin, Tanya Golgin, and Cassie Radtke-Witek are Terry’s three daughters. They are married to Luke, Tiara to Luke Radtke of LaSalle, FL, and Cassie to Luke Witek of LaSalle. Their granddaughter is Emma Radtke. Also included in the list of survivors are Terry’s mother Kathi (Dean) Gerard, who is a resident of LaSalle, Illinois. His father Kenneth Schumacher lives in Spring Valley, Illinois, while his other sister Angela Holloway lives in LaSalle and his brother Mark (Deana) Gerard lives in Saucier, MS.
Her maternal grandparents, Leroy and Ann Cooper, as well as her paternal grandparents, Warren and Ester Schumacher, both passed away before her. Also dead before she was born was her aunt Jan Crowl, as well as her two uncles, Terry Cooper and Ronald Schumacher.
