According to the local reports, the 24-year-old rapper was detained by the officers on Saturday, January 1, 2021, in Pompano Beach which is located in South Florida. He has been charged with a misdemeanour trespassing, shared by the Broward County Court. Apart from the aforementioned information, nothing has come forward yet. At the time of writing, the actual matter which resulted in the rapper getting arrested is unknown.

Besides, Kodak’s representative has also not commented on the matter yet. The 24-year-old Kodak Black’s real name is Bill Kahan Kapri. Born on June 11, 1997, in Florida, the rapper was recognised after the release of his single “No Flockin” in 2014. Later, he released his debut album in 2017 with the title “Painting Pictures”.
The album did wonders as it landed on the US Billboard 200 at number 3. In 2018, Kodak’s second album was released under the title “Dying to Live”. It peaked at number one on the Billboard 200. It is no doubt that the rapper has successfully established himself in the industry at such a young age. Along with getting fame, the rapper had been associated with various controversies. Kodak Black has been arrested on drug and gun charges several times. In 2016, the young rapper was accused by a special jury in South Carolina where he was indicted of first-degree criminal behaviour.
Further in 2019, he was arrested and then convicted to over three years behind the bar as he was pleaded guilty to intentionally creating fake written statements when he tried to get firearms from a licensed dealer of the firearms.
