Yosanth Jegatheeswaran dead and obituary, Cause of death

Toronto police are searching for a man and woman who went missing in North York over the weekend.

Yosanth Jegatheeswaran, 29, was last seen on Saturday, January 15, just past Jane Street and near Tretheway Drive at noon, while Prasanthy Aruchunan, 28, was last seen on Sunday, January 16 at 7.45pm. Close to Jane Street and Finch Avenue West.

Jegatheeswaran is 5 feet 11 inches tall, 206 pounds, with short black hair, a beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black puffy winter jacket, white T-shirt and dark sneakers, driving a grey Toyota Camry with red interior. The license plate is CFMK 918.

Aruchunan is approximately 5’1″ tall, approximately 135 pounds, with a medium build, brown eyes, long straight black hair and a medium skin tone.

She was last seen wearing a burgundy T-shirt, a grey sweater, a grey winter jacket with a frayed hood, black pants and black knee-high boots, and a black purse. Aruchunan also has three earrings in each ear.

Investigators are concerned for the safety of Jegatheeswaran and Aruchunan and believe the two are together. They reportedly left the Jane and Finch area on the night of January 15.

Toronto police remind the public that they can report a loss at any time, noting that there is no mandatory 24-hour waiting period.

“If you are concerned about someone’s immediate safety, please call 911. Otherwise, you may report a missing person to the Toronto Police Service by calling the non-emergency number 416-808-2222,” police said in a news release.
